Since the establishment of Teeter's Telescopes in 2002, we've filled a niche in the amateur astronomy community of building custom Truss-Dob structures around pre-existing primary mirrors. Where other Truss-Dob manufacturers will sell you one of their standard structures and will try to force your mirror to fit, our TT/Custom structures are built specifically for your mirror;

Do you already have a 10" F/6.5, 12.5" F/5.5, 14.5" F/5, 16" F/5, etc., mirror? We build each of our TT/Custom structures one-at-a-time with structure dimensions and components sized to fit that mirror precisely. There's no fitting a "square peg into a round hole" here;

Do you have a mass-produced Solid- or Truss-Dob that's too shaky, that won't hold collimation, that's too grity and that's full of friction in the axial motions? We specialize in transplanting the major components (primary mirror cell, spider, secondary, primary, focuser and finder) of that mass-produced scope into one of our high quality structures.
