*Please note, our production runs routinely fill up to capacity and do so by approximately 1 month prior to the "Production Run State Date" listed above. So be sure to call us early to reserve your spot in our next production or risk getting bumped to a later run. See "Holding Your Place in Line" below for more information.
Holding Your Place in Line:
Would you like Teeter's Telescopes
to hold one of these openings for you? Simply submit
a non-refundable $100.00 "good faith deposit",
per payment submittal instructions below, and we'll
put your name and desired project into our queue (see Scope Log). Openings
are filled on a first-come first-served basis. Your
deposit will be applied to the balance due on the project.
The remaining balance of the 50% deposit of the total project price
will be due on the start date of your Teeter's Telescopes
production run.
Placing Your Order:
No order can be initiated and officially logged without
a completed, signed and dated Order
Specification Form. This Form should be submitted
as early in the order process as possible and will help
us provide you with an accurate price quote. In addition,
this Form will act as a contract allowing our staff
to be in agreement with you on all aspects of your scope
and to eliminate any miscommunications. This Form also
acts as a guide for us during the design and build processes,
therefore we ask that you be as explicit as possible
on the Form with any special requests or considerations
that need to be addressed.
This Form, however, is not written in stone as components
may be modified, changed, added and/or deleted during
the build process (we understand that circumstances
change, new/better products are released or you may
simply have a change of heart). We ask that any modifications
with your build be communicated with us in writing (via
Email to rob@teeterstelescopes.com)
to ensure we have a "tangible" record of such
changes.
Payment Methods:
All orders require a 50% non-refundable
deposit of the total price (not including shipping)
of your Teeter's Telescope product, due on
the first day of your scope's Production Run Start Date.
Once your deposit clears
our bank or when we charge your credit card, no refunds can be given under any circumstances.
Please be 100% sure you
want to proceed with an order when you submit your deposit! No exceptions.
Payment via Credit Card
We use the safe and secure services of the "Square" from SquareUp.com to process our credit card transactions. If you would like to use a credit card, please call us directly at 732-991-1248 where Teeter's Telescopes owner, Rob Teeter, will take your pertinent credit card information (number, expiration date, CVV code and billing zip code) to process your payment. A receipt will be automatically generated and Emailed to you immediately following the transaction.
Payment via Personal Check or Money Order
Or, if you would prefer to remit payment via personal check or money order, please make them payable to "Teeter's Telescopes, LLC."
and mail to:
Teeter's Telescopes, LLC., 105 Hiawatha Boulevard, Lake Hiawatha, N. J. U.S.A.

Teeter's Telescopes Shipping:
Teeter's Telescopes, LLC., exclusively uses FedEx Ground to ship our scopes both within the United States and
Canada (International air shipments are quoted at time of order). We pack every telescope ourselves using high-strength double-wall corrugated cardboard boxes, internal bracing, cushioning foam (not peanuts!) and strapping tape.
On a typical project, we will pack the Mirrorbox and any small accessories into their own shipping container, the Rockerbox with Upper Tube Assembly nested within into a second container, the Truss Poles and Wheelbarrow
Handles (if applicable) together into a third container, and
the primary mirror safely isolated from all other components into a fourth container.
*Approximate* shipping fees are detailed below, inclusive
of FedEx Ground shipping
rates, full insurance, packing materials as described above and our time (based upon current shop hourly rate) to prepare and physically pack your scope for shipment (fees in the table below are
given as a guide and should never be interpretted as exact
charges):

Please note, for customers located
outside of the United States, Teeter's Telescopes will
not be responsible for importation duties/taxes levied
against our shipment(s). Full value of all telescopes
shipped internationally will be claimed on all applicable
Customs forms for insurance purposes (no exceptions
- Teeter's Telescopes will NOT under-value and/or under-insure
any international shipments under any circumstances. It's not legal and we don't need the hassle!).
In-person, Hand Delivery
Let us bring your new Teeter's Telescopes Truss-Dobsonian right to your door! We now offer in-person delivery to those customers within approximately 500 miles of our shop (greater distances, please inquire). The benefits of this option include, but are not limited to: (1) Teeter's Telescopes owner and fellow amateur astronomer, Rob Teeter, will walk you through the assembly process in person; (2) Rob will give hints/tips/tricks for set up, take down and general maintenance so you can make the most of your new Teeter's Telescope; (3) For those new to Newtonians and/or Truss-Dobsonians, Rob can also provide a tutorial on collimation; (4) Your Teeter's Telescope will be transported with the utmost care, instead of being jostled around by FedEx on the road and/or rail; (5) In-person Delivery can work out to be less expensive than packing, shipping and insurance, particularly for our 16" and larger apertures; and, (6) No wear & tear on your vehicle to come to us - we'll come to you!
A flat $150.00 delivery charge is billed to help offset our time away from the shop, on top of which round-trip mileage from Zip Code 07034 is billed according to the current IRS Standard Mileage Rate, which, as of 2011, is $0.50/mile. Please note, we will do our best to accomodate your schedule but ask that you please let us know of your desire for this option as soon as possible, so we can build this travel time into our schedule.
Orders and General Information:

You can reach us via telephone typically from 9:00am - 8:00pm, U.S. Eastern Time, Monday - Saturday at (732) 991-1248.
This line is monitored at all times, so chances are you'll get Teeter's Telescopes owner, Rob Teeter, if it's between the times and days listed above. Otherwise, we'll call you back as soon as we can. Please be sure to leave your location so we know what time zone you are calling from to ensure that we don't call you back too early or too late.
