Teeter's Telescopes Informational & Assembly Videos

Alright, so maybe we didn't have Steven Spielberg on staff during the making of these videos, but they will still go a long way toward showing the virtues of our design and helping you assemble your Teeter's Telescope for the first time. The first video briefly describes how our "Truss Ring" feature works and why it is useful, while the five (5) videos that follow show the assembly of a 10" F/6.9 completed in November, 2009. While these videos were originally created for the specific customer, many portions of the videos show standard components, whose installation and usage can be applied to all Teeter's Telescopes (not just this specific 10" F/6.9 scope).

Please also scroll toward the bottom for videos showing the assembly of an 18" F/4.5.

Standard equipment on every 12.5" - 20" Truss Dobsonian we produce, the "Truss Ring" allows the user to keep their scope split into two major pieces for quick set up and for easier upper tube assembly (UTA) installation (particularly useful on 16"-20" scopes with focal lengths > 90" where the UTA sits higher than eye-level; also useful on our 12.5" f/5 scopes as the scope can be transported in its two major sections - mirrorbox/rockerbox and UTA/truss poles/"Truss Ring" - in most SUV's and hatchback-type vehicles). Please also see our Press Release announcing the "Truss Ring."
