Fall 2020, Update - The #TeeterTots are Born
The TeeterTots have arrived! Heather and I welcomed twin boys, Nolan Terry Teeter and Vaughn Robert Teeter, to the family (L to R at left), born 6 lbs 2 oz and 19", and 5 lbs 15 oz and 18.75", respectively. Mother and babies are doing great after a precautionary visit to the NICU and all were welcomed home just a few days after birth. We are so excited for this new adventure. Thanks for all the well wishes and kind words over the last 9 months from our customers and fans, they have been enormously helpful during this huge change in lifestyle, which we are embracing wholeheartedly!
Teeter’s Telescopes now begins our anticipated modified schedule split between workshop time and nursery time. All orders currently in process will be seen to completion as soon as possible.
Please watch this space for announcements regarding 2021 production. Please also see below telescopes in process that are, as of yet, unclaimed and available to be reserved. Grab one before they're gone!
In Stock Note: After all of our contracted builds are complete, we will start the telescopes below as In Stock items for sale. Completion is anticipated to be Spring 2021, which will allow me to work leisurely on them during Winter 2020/2021 (as the TeeterTots allow!). The telescopes are as follows:

These 8", 10" and 11" Zambuto mirrors are the last of his 20mm Quartz supply, the last of this great material at this thickness.
No other specifications have been decided such as wood stain color, focuser, finder(s), etc (aside from the 16" Journey-HD). Therefore if you believe you might be interested in one of the above telescopes for delivery in 2021, and would like to specify the wood stain color and tube color (among other specs) of your choosing, then please reach out to us to see about reserving one, but please note, "they're done when they're done."
Customers with specific deadlines or limited patience need not apply. ;-) The idea is that we can build these telescopes above at a non-harried pace.

Teeter's Telescopes, LLC., was formed in 2002, and is the banner under which we have custom-built over 200 Dobsonian Telescopes. These have ranged from 8" F/6 to 24" F/3.5 and nearly every aperture and focal length combination between. We're not your typical telescope manufacturer - we are a custom shop, building custom telescopes to your specifications.
Telescope Repairs & Restorations
We offer upgrade, repair and restoration services on most other commercially available telescopes, as well as home-built instruments. This includes major component repair/upgrade, collimation, refinishing (wood, powder coating), mirror recoating, etc. See our "Services" page for additional details.
