Professional Services Currently Include:

  • One-on-one Guidance for assembly of your new telescope (that you just purchased but aren't sure how to put together!)

  • One-on-one Newtonian/Dobsonian Collimation Lessons

  • One-on-one General "Get to Know Your Telescope" Lessons both during the Day and at Night to discuss eyepieces, computer systems, alignment of finder scopes, choosing objects to view, etc.

  • Appraisals for Equipment Valuation/Donation

  • Presentations at Astronomy Clubs/Events about Telescope Making

  • "Telescope Nights" at Schools, Libraries, Scout Troops (this service is provided in coordination with our partner, Pearl Observatory)

Our Standard Shop Rate is $75/hour for Professional Services and is estimated based upon each specific job. It is recommended you fill out the form at left so we may generate a quote specific to the services you need/want. 

Further, while virtual meetings have become more common place, we feel it is always best if sessions are conducted in-person, specifically the one-on-one Guidance for assembling your telescope, Collimation and "Get to Know Your Telescope" lessons. Therefore, we will prioritize clients willing/able to come to our Northern New Jersey facility. Thank you!
